Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson was an American actor best recognized for her role as Buffy Summers, in the popular film Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The other roles she has played include Rebecca Becky Granger from the telefilm Nightingales and the brief-lived NBC show with the similar name. Flowers in the Attic won her the Young Artist Award in the category of the best Young Actress in Horror or Mystery Motion Picture in 1989.
