Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson gained world-wide recognition for her role in Buffy Summers. In the cult classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she played Rebecca Becky Granger. Swanson is a native Californian. The actress began to develop an interest in acting. Her career began acting in commercials as an actress. She appeared in an episode in the NBC sitcom It's Your Move, in 1984. Two years later when she appeared on the romantic comedy Pretty in Pink of 1986, she made her big-screen debut. Her most famous feature is her blonde hair and the breathless voice that she employs. Since then, Swan has moved to performing in the role of secondary characters. In 1989she was awarded the Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress in a Horror or Mystery Motion Picture for Flowers in the Attic.
