Molly Tarlov, an American actress who has been starring in Awkward since 2011, is best known as Sadie Saxton. Tarlov was the second of two daughters who was born and raised by the parents of her mother in Manhattan. In the Little Red School House, Tarlov began her career in the role of Mrs. Peterson at age 10. The play was well-loved by seventh-grade students. When she was older, she spent the summers in Paris with NYU Tisch's Tisch School of the Arts in Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College granted her a bachelor's in the field of theatre. The school she attended was The Atlantic Theater Company and was able to incorporate writing into her acting during The LAByrinth Theater Master Class. Molly switched her winter black coat for a pair of dark sunglasses after arriving in Los Angeles. A three-word part on iCarly immediately caught the attention from her parents. Molly has made a number of shows on television and has played the character of Caitlin in Winnie Holzman as well as Savannah Dooley's ABC's Family show Huge. Molly pretends that she can perform basketball with ease even though she's not. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
