Angela Watson

Angela Christine Watson was born on the 12th of November, 1975. She is an actor and model in the US. in the American sitcom Step by Step, she played Karen Foster the daughter of Carol Foster Lambert (Suzanne Somers). Angela Watson has a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She is also an National Board Certified teacher. She has more than 11 years of experience in the classroom and over a decade of experience as an instructional coach. Angela created this site when she was in the position of a student teacher at the time in 2003. She was looking to offer useful classroom tips and encourage other teachers to adopt a more positive outlook so that they could enjoy their jobs. The website was initially titled Ms. Powell's Management Ideas for Teachers until 2008 after which it was changed to The Cornerstone for Teachers after the publication of her first publication. Angela Powell's work on productivity and professional development is now being used at over 45,000 public schools in the US by way of her 40 Hour Workweek initiative. Initially designed for educators, 40 Hour was then extended in order to encompass instructional coaches as well as administrators. The program helps teachers become more mindful of their contract schedule and their instruction, so they can focus on what is important.
