April Lockhart

April Lockhart, born in 1995 on the 4th of July, began taking piano and guitar lessons from seven years old. The passion for creating songs was sparked. At the age of seven, April began taking guitar and piano lessons. The lessons sparked her passion in songwriting. In her 14th year April was a big devotee of her time writing and practicing songs. Then, in the following months, April began traveling with her father and write in NY and LA. The month also saw her include other related topics for some of her classmates who struggle with such things as bullying by peers and teenage suicide as depicted in the song"Take my Hand. Lockhart is a beauty and lifestyle influencer with a growing following. She works with popular brand Ilia together, and is also a lifestyle expert. She was not born with a left-hand, which is why she's who she is. But that's far from the whole story. Lockhart's profile on Instagram doesn't cover up her disability, but it does not focus solely on the issue. What is the message? The message is That we all carry numerous identities. We're much way more diverse than we think that we're. Lockhart said via video that she does not want to be defined by her handicap. She doesn't wish to become an advocate for disabled people who only talks about disability. There are many aspects of Lockhart. The issue doesn't affect my everyday life. I carry on my business as usual and have come up with my own ways to adapt. It's an integral part of my life, therefore it's important to discuss it. Lockhart has been a great inspiration to her fellow women in the area of self-acceptance. She still admits having gone through a few phases with her physique, feeling uncomfortable in certain situations wearing outfits that showcased the arms of her. The woman now puts on whatever clothes she wishes and shares pictures on Facebook in awe. Self-love for her was an extended trip. This is a process, and I'm sure that you never arrive. It's my opinion that having those close to you who truly know you and see your feelings is crucial since they'll be those that remind you of what are you concerned about?
